Salem Dye, Bliss Resting and Søren Drastrup met up in Los Angeles and ventured down into the city's techno bowls in search of interesting humans to cast. When they resurfaced, they fled the city with four models in an abandoned school bus named Cloud 9 and drove into the dessert. The abed landscape made it hard to navigate, the lakes completely dried out. The few people they met were hostile, much like their surroundings. The project was made together with Brian Rowan, who's clothes became the costumes of the film.
This film was part of the Morph's launch trilogy, which was the first series of projects made in Morph first year.
