With the ambition to think sustainability in an even more radical way, soulland decided not to make samples for their ss21 collection. Instead, the clothes would be shown only digitally.

For the campaign we decided to work with time in relation to sustainability. So while the format of 3d is looking out into the future, we wanted to work with a more ancient aesthetics on the models. We sculpted them as statues but with a ceramic surface.

The theme of the collection was ‘cosmic capitalism’ and the designs contained references to astrology. We wanted to continue that theme, both in the statues, but also directly in the space, which is a night sky, with future star signs and symbols.
